So I made a gooseberry ice-cream

but I can't get it in the freezer because it's full of the wool that I've been hiding from the moths

so I haven't actually made ice cream at this point - just a sort of cold fool!

    I would suggest storing the wool in the oven, but on second thought ... that might not be such a good idea.

      I should just drape it out on the hedges - let the mice use it

    Joking aside, store your wool(sweaters and unknitted yarns) in unbleached calico bags.For extra security, I sew mine with enclosed seams.
    If only I'd thought to store my feathers that way...:-(
