Spring Cleaning has crept into my heart

It felt so good to wash the kitchen floor that I took a set of muslin curtains down and put them in the washing machine with some other things.

I turned on the machine and  forgot about it.

When I opened the washer the next day my knickers and t-shirts were bound round with shreds of semi-digested rags - it took a full ten minutes to remember about the curtains.

  1. Yikes! Were the curtains especially delicate or did the washing machine go bonkers?

I'm going to attempt to wash two wool scarves today...

    1. Always pay attention to Scarlet - should've asked her first!

  2. Woolite, Mr Lax!
Always be careful about the detergent you use with woollens. And muslin.

    1. I know I know ... I'll probably never do anything like this again *shamefaced*

  3. I knew about Woolite and wool, but not muslin. So many pitfalls!

By chance, I ran my first ever batch of wool tartan scarves in the washing machine on Saturday. Woolite, hand-washing cycle, air dry. The scarves were perfect!
