Foot Foot
is as soft as a very soft thing and she's all mine for the next 3 days
In other news I am about to embark on a survey of Thames houseboats - the weather was dazzlingly good today and I spent it drifting slowly upriver with people-who-know-things pointing at dutch barges, lighters and clippers.

I always had whimsical dreams about living on a houseboat, but it's probably harder than it looks.

so many beautiful boats but the maintenance is grim and I've heard a few sinking stories too!
DeleteAnd motor boats whose engine dies when you're drifting towards a weir are a bit of a worry,too!

DeleteI'm a little bit afraid of water, though I had a long trips on motor boats last year. That was awesome.
