is there a word for the opposite of talent?

Inabilities doesn't seem right I want to call it 'anti-talents' which might be an infection caught from a year in academia where making up words is de rigueur

  1. I tried the online antonym dictionary. All of its suggestions seemed rather inadequate and/or harsh.

Please feel free to use "LẌ" if you can't find a suitable word.

  2. Well.... if you can't do something so well just use the word 'modern' . So I do a bit of modern calligraphy, and you do modern ironing. I also do modern cooking and cleaning. 'Popular' may also work!!

  3. For a made up word you could use the word 'tainted'. I don't know why, maybe because it sounds like talented.... so people might think you're given them a complement and won't be offended :-)
Yeah.... I've spent too long thinking about this now and I'm tainted at it....

    1. Tainted is brilliant, also following your last comment I think post-modern works very well too xxx

  4. Gift-challenged? Lacktalent? I like that. It rings of Elizabeth the First. I'm impressed that you could spell "de rigueur." All those u's and r's would have defeated me. Happy 4th of July!
