A Bit Windy

the rain has swollen the doors  - they will either not shut or not open.

when I came home I pulled the door into the door hole until it stopped moving. during the night the wind re-opened it because my obese front door is refusing to engage with the latch.

today the last of my celebratory black beans will be fried up with rice  - soon I will be able to socialise in enclosed spaces.

my jumper cupboard is overflowing. I have readjusted my work-search criteria to include jumper-wearing.

  1. Your writing is superb. And you have a photo on your blog titled Inside the eel pie shop which I find as fascinating as the inside of a neo-gothic cathedral. I am soon going to visit a neo-gothic cathedral so it's on my mind.

    1. The eel pie shop is the east end equivalent of a neo-gothic cathedral Rebecca, we could make a pilgrimmage there xxx

  2. Perhaps this will help.

I have no idea about jumper wearing. Sorry.

    1. Thank you it does help, but would rather move to tropics

  3. Just because you can wander about in nothing but a thong, Mr Lax, there is no need to brag about not knowing what a jumper is!
Meanwhile, I will avoid enclosed spaces in the Bristol area...

  4. We never close any of the internal doors here. A visitor was dismayed to find that the cats could(and did!) open the bathroom door.

    1. I'm guessing you have the weather for an open door policy - lucky you!
