Ooh Scarls - you slipped in unexpectedly ... if all else fails wear shoes that make you smile, that's my motto - I've just picked up a suede/brass vintage pair that I think I'll have to show.

Is that a pirate cat? I think I see an eye patch! I hate cats, but I think I could tolerate a cat with an eye patch as long as it didn't touch me or have any hair (allergies). So, a bald pirate cat. Eh, screw it. Stomp 'em baby!

We found the only thing that really scares a cat is cat flea powder (assuming said cat has had it rubbed into its fur on several occasions), so maybe you could ring your cat's territory with that.

I like the way they have all the origami markings showing you how to turn them into exotic lotus blossoms once the heels go.
