A man should swallow a toad every morning to be certain of not encountering anything more disgusting in the course of the day. Nicholas de Chamfort
I think it is wonderful you're doing this. Seriously, after my three mile a day walk home, during my last job, I was knackered, so I can't imagine taking on THIRTY MILES. I hope someone's going to give you a nice foot rub after? :) And mix you a cocktail. Good luck!

Being a veteran of lots of 5K's 10K's 10 milers half marathons - I do not think I have what it takes to even think about a 30 mile walk! I will be thinking about you on Sunday (my worst repercussion? loss of both big toe nails. Not pretty. Oh, and falling down getting out of the car after the 1/2 marathon (only 13 miles) (but I did run) into the glut of traffic infront of Cracker Barrel. (hungry marathoners).(my legs gave out).
ReplyDeleteGood on ya! And your Da! I hope you can hear my cheering from there! :¬)
